Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh will face questions after confirming the two parties have struck a deal that will allow the Liberals to govern until 2025.
This is the first question period since the deal was announced earlier Tuesday.
Trudeau said Tuesday morning the decision would offer “stability” to Canadians in uncertain times. He said the deal is one he thought “long and hard” about, adding, “it was not an easy decision.”
Singh described the deal as “not a destination, but a starting point” and said it was “not at all a carte blanche.” He said dental care, housing and the environment are some of his priorities within this deal.
