Russia-Ukraine conflict: Invasion jeopardizes peace aboard International Space Station

The Russia-Ukraine conflict is threatening peace aboard the International Space Station. Fifteen countries including the U.S., Russia, and Canada, work together to run the ISS.

Russia in particular has worked collaboratively with the west on the station since the end of the Cold War — a partnership that has withstood geopolitical tensions before.

As Heather Yourex-West explains, with the crisis continuing to worsen, rifts are starting to form over space.
