Russia-Ukraine conflict: NATO refuses to implement no-fly zone

1 min read

Russian President Vladimir Putin warned on Saturday that any implementation of a no-fly zone over Ukraine by a third-party would be seen as participation in the war.

At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke with more than 300 U.S. lawmakers to push for help in getting NATO to implement such a zone, something the organization is so far refusing, saying it could lead to a full-fledged war with Russia.

NATO is also refusing to provide Ukraine with fighter jets, something lawmakers promised to push U.S. President Joe Biden to make happen. Jennifer Johnson reports on the latest developments and what else Zelenskyy is asking for.
