1 min read

RCMP officers are hunting for suspects after a brazen attack on the work site of a natural gas pipeline.

Coastal GasLink says its facility and nine workers were attacked early Thursday morning.

Police say the “violent confrontation” between 20 camouflage-clad, unknown individuals and employees of Coastal GasLink (GGL) took place early Thursday morning on the Marten Forest Service Road.

Police say damage to the site including buildings and equipment is estimated around six million dollars.

Emad Agahi has more.
